  • The harvest is going quite well though Adam is a bit sad that this will be his last harvest at Home Farm. Ian tries to convince him he is happy to move away but Adam isn’t sure. And their conversation is interrupted by Pawel texting Adam what he is doing. Ian thinks it would be great to see him at The Bull but Adam manages to distract him.
  • Elona is expecting Darrell to produce more money for the children – a scooter for Rosa. He is obviously anxious about finding the cash.
  • Adam goes to see Pawel in his caravan. Pawel tries to entice him into bed. But Adam tells him it can’t go on. He is married and feels very guilty. Pawel says it isn’t his fault and it isn’t him he should be talking to.
  • Matt asks Darrell to visit the Walters’ house. He wants Darrell to make sure he finds out every problem there is, cosmetic and structural – plumbing, electrics, floorboards etc. He doesn’t care how long it takes as long as Darrell gets back to him. Darrell says there isn’t much wrong – a bit of repointing and a few air bricks. But Matt has decided that he wants the whole thing done. He’s just being a “responsible landlord” but Darrell isn’t convinced – especially when he tells him not to mention it to Lilian. But Elona convinces him it is the right thing to do for the children.
  • Adam tells Ian he doesn’t want to leave Ambridge. He know it isn’t what Ian wants. Adam says it meant the world to him that Ian was prepared to leave but he knows that it isn’t the right thing. He’ll tell Brian tommorrow he is prepared to keep working the arable.
  • Later, Ian and Adam are in the hot tub relaxing when Adam finds the advert for the arable manager at Home Farm. He storms off to confront Brian.
