Brian wants to go back to Home Farm providing the crops for the dairy.

Radio Times: Eddie aims for monster profits and Brian tackles a crisis.

Characters: Bert, Brian, Eddie, Jennifer, Jim, Joe, Ruairi

• One of Brian’s farmers has dropped out of supplying crops for the dairy so he sees no choice but to revert to the original plan that Home Farm will provide the crops, whatever Adam thinks. Jennifer is furious and makes him promise not to talk to Adam until they’ve discussed it more.
• Eddie has dragged Joe to a farmers’ market to flog his beasts. Joe isn’t impressed. Nor is Jennifer when they pull up next to her. When Jennifer is distracted serving Jim, they try to convince Ruairi that he’d like a concrete dog to replace Fly. Jennifer won’t advance him the pocket money but he asks Eddie to keep it until he can get it. Brian won’t give him the money either but says he can work for it.
• Jim is wondering what Lynda is up to when Jennifer reminds him of the performance art. Jim can’t think of anything worse. Jim tells Bert she is turning Ambridge into a freak show to bus people in to stare at the locals.
• Brian has told Adam he needs and urgent meeting. Jennifer is furious he is going back on his word but Brian thinks in a rather cavalier way that when the chips are down families will stick together.
