Brookfield is front page news in The Echo. Amy has come to her senses.
Radio Times: David loses his cool and Amy tries to get things in perspective.
Characters: Adam, Alice, Amy, David, Josh, Ruth- Oh, no! “Terror on local farm.” That’s the headline in The Echo. David takes it all more seriously than Josh and makes his feelings clear.
- With Chris visiting his mum and then at nets all evening, followed by The Bull, Alice is planning a girls’ night in with Amy. Alice is seeking inspiration for Chris’s birthday treat but Amy isn’t much help. Alice assures her that, if she needs to talk, any time, Alice will be here to listen. Amy admits that she would have stayed with Carl, even knowing he is married; she feels is a monster. She said horrible things to Usha and didn’t even send her a birthday card. Alice recommends that she puts things right with Usha, as soon as she can.
- Josh has been Skyping with Phoebe; she wanted to know why Josh hasn’t put any film on the website. He hasn’t told her that the police have the footage but he is a bit anxious that, if he has filmed the criminal gang at work, he might have to go to court. Ruth tells him not – but she will check with Usha to be sure. David apologises for going off the deep end earlier.
- In The Bull, Adam and David mull over the Ambridge cricket team’s performance. Adam saw The Echo, although he thinks it was down to kids and vandalism. Adam has found his first week quite hard and isn’t really feeling up to the birthday treat that Ian has in store. David assures him that he will be in court to help nail his attackers.
