David and Ruth come back while Matt wants to go

Radio Times: Lilian tries to prevent a disaster

Characters: David, Lexi, Lilian, Matt, Pip, Roy, Ruth

• David and Ruth arrive back at Brookfield in a taxi, as Josh was too busy to fetch them from the airport. They’re glad to be home and get tucked into some sausage butties while chatting with Pip.
• Lexi and Roy discuss the CCTV footage of Adam punching Matt. Roy doesn’t know if he should give it to the police or not. Lexi tells him he should do whatever he thinks is right.
• Lilian has coffee and croissants for Matt, but he is busy trying to do some work. He’s booked a flight to Ecuador. They argue about him fitness to fly. Lilian tries to put her foot down and make him stay.
• Pip tells her parents about not feeding the cattle more concentrate and focusing on the health of the herd rather than the yield. They tells her that she made a very mature decision and that Phil would have been proud of her.
• Lexi and Roy are at the cinema to see a remake of Murder on the Orient Express. They’re still discussing whether to give the CCTV footage to the police or not
• Lilian is in reception of Grey Gables and leaves Justin a message, asking him to call her so they can talk. Matt appears with his cases ready to go in a taxi. He is clearly unfit to travel, but insists he is leaving. He insists he has to go and will send Lilian a ticket so she can join him. On his way out, he falls over and is in a lot of pain. Lilian firmly tells him he is going nowhere.
