• David’s presented his figures to Phil. He and Ruth are sure that their case is unanswerable, that they’ll be turning huge profits within three years, but Phil wants time to read their report. David senses resistance, but Jill says that he’s just tired with the Mikado on his mind.
• Another full house for the second night – and made all the better by FLOS’ production of the Gondoliers going down the pan, making Lynda even happier.
• The surprise cooked up earlier was bringing the chorus round to serenade Chris with carols. A great gathering, which she appreciated.
