David’s diplomatic skills are put to the test. Harry’s cooking passes the test.

Radio Times: David faces a tricky customer and Harry is handling the haggis.

• The pressure is on David as the Lower Loxley wedding draws near. The bride’s mother is in a spin over securing an antique tray for the wedding cake, but Emma’s suggestion of asking Mrs Pugsley helps David calm down.
• The pressure is on Harry, too, as he cooks for the Burns Night supper. Mike is worried that Vicky and Ed might become embroiled in another row, but Vicky assures him that’s all in the past. Her new mascara is occupying Vicky’s thoughts, anyway.
• The guests gather at Harry’s, and Emma seems none too pleased when she learns that Nic and Will were at Clarrie’s the night before. Conversation is rather hesitant, so Vicky brightly asks Ed about the herd. Mike quickly suggests that Harry might like a hand in the kitchen.
• The supper goes well, and everyone bar Emma is complimentary about Harry’s haggis; it was a bit too much for the pregnant Emma to stomach. Jazzer has next day off, and suggests they party. Ed and Emma are keen, so Harry has little choice, especially when he learns that Jazzer has invited his mates from Borchester over.
