Don’t look back in anger.
Radio Times: Don’t look back in anger.
Characters: Alistair, Brian, Debbie, Greg, Janet, Lizzie, Shula- Shula’s in the church to see Janet (and surprisingly bumps into Lizzie who’s pleased for her, and considers Alistair a “dish” and she a lucky girl). Janet explains that in order to have a church wedding she has to talk to them both and especially to Alistair about his first marriage and then make a recomendation to the bishop. Later, Shula mentions this to him and he’s not particularly happy about the prospect and wonders if they couldn’t make do with the civil ceremony. They break the news to Janet, who seems a little disappointed with the news. They also reveal that they’re aiming to have it on Christmas Eve.
- Shula’s off on her church tourism conference next week and although she’s planning on returning home every night, Alistair offers to mind Daniel for him while she’s away.
- Brian’s in a rotten mood, mainly due to Matt Crawford’s pestering over the proposed leisure complex, all the worse because Brian’s sure it would never get planning permission. This mood is manifesting itself in ire at Greg’s handling of the shoot yesterday (despite the punters going away happy). When Greg asks Brian to share knowledge, he bites his head of. Later, Debbie manages to drag him to the Bull and suggests that he’s blaming himself for it and just taking it out on Greg.
