Elizabeth finds the science museum interesting. Elona finds a shoulder to cry on. Chris finds himself unable to talk to Alice.

• Elizabeth takes the twins to try out Ifty’s maths trail and to visit the science museum. She enthuses over his ability to motivate Freddie, and over the exhibits, and becomes distinctly flirtatious when Ifty suggests they go and look at the astronaut room. Would Ifty like to come to supper one night? He certainly would.
• Darrell’s unexplained late nights out continue to worry Elona, and matters come to a head when a bundle of notes falls from his pocket. He claims they are a bonus from Brian, but Elona knows that is a lie.
• Chris is pleased to see Roy, and even more pleased when Roy produces bottles of beer. Neil is getting up a darts team, but tells Chris he will not be fit enough to play. Chris tells Roy about Alice’s job offer; it’s something they seem unable to talk about.
• Neil calls to see whether Darrell is up for the darts match, but instead finds a tearful Elona, who pours out her worries about Darrell’s late-night activities. Darrell returns while she is in mid-flow, and is not pleased that she has told Neil.
