Fallon bails out early from her date with PC Burns

Radio Times: Rob gives Helen a hand, and Fallon offers PC Burns another chance.

Characters: , , , ,
  • The pigs are still causing Tony grief: a water leak has created a quagmire. Pat is apologetic but with all the hold-ups this morning she is going to find it difficult to help Helen with the interviews this afternoon at Ambridge Organics. No matter – Rob has taken the afternoon off to help. There are four candidates of whom number three is the best so far – a young man.
  • Harrison’s patience has been rewarded with a date. He presents Fallon with a potentially useful contact for her up-cycling and he is prepared to listen to Fallon’s various woes. He suggests going on to a club later but Fallon is not sure; she phones a friend – Alice of course – from the loo. When she returns, he tells her she under-sells herself.
  • Pat finds several letters in The Echo opposing the road scheme and a few in favour. Jazzer is not keen to work more hours with the pigs because it would interfere with his social life.
  • Helen can’t sleep until they have decided on a deputy manager. It’s all about trust; who best fits the profile of a reliable trustworthy deputy? The fourth candidate, Tina, is older and more experienced; she is the obvious choice.
  • Fallon is home early from her date – and alone; she rings Alice to report. She is really not sure about PC Burns. There are things on his Facebook page that she doesn’t like the look of. There is no second date arranged; she tried, but is really not sure he is her kind of guy.
