  • Chris congratulates Shula on her news and they discuss the ups and downs of having a church wedding – Alistair being a divorcee – a subject that Chris knows all about, although times have changed in the last twenty years.
  • Jack’s cock-a-hoop as the Grey Gables shoot is going stormingly – with no small thanks due to George’s experience, changing the scheduled covers because of strong, changeable winds. Over at Home Farm though, new boy Greg, hasn’t been so lucky and Brian’s guns have suffered somewhat – with Brian tactlessly, if understandably, suggesting that Greg might want to ask his advice if he’s not sure of the lie of the land.
  • Brian suffers some more with Matt Crawford bending his ear about the proposed leisure complex and suggests that Brian might be behaving with a little too much intransigence.
