  • Clarrie is concerned that Neil doesn’t know what to do with his gladioli and even more puzzled when Christine strolls into the Flower Festival with only a couple of hours to go. We need a few moments for a public information film about Nic needing a CRB check to help in Junior Church. But Tony and Pat are planning to stroll down to the church to have a look. Though only Pat will actually look at the exhibits – even for free.
  • Clarrie is impressed by her display – Nic agrees her display has totally taken her breath away. Especially the green lights for Ireland and the diluted paint to represent milk. Nic is rather shocked. But then they see Christine’s classy and simple design and Clarrie is horrified. But she does have to agree it is beautiful.
  • Jolene is worrying about Lilian. She hasn’t heard from her. Kenton says no news is good news but at least Daniel has reported in from Wyoming. Then Jazzer starts sneaking around trying to avoid the Flower Festival.
  • Pat bumps into Jazzer in the church. He is clearly trying to avoid someone and it becomes clear that it is Clarrie when she appears. Clarrie spots him and she launches into him for telling fibs in return for Sunday Lunch. Clarrie regrets that she has gone over the top with her display. Everyone tries to be nice about it but Jolene ploughs in in ignorance and makes it clear that Clarrie’s display is really OTT. Nic tries to take some of the responsibility but there is no doubt where the blame lies. But at least Jazzer gets his comeuppance by trying to drink the milk from the display, only to be told it is paint.
  • Pat and Tony see the last of their milkers driven away. They’ll see about £165,000. Pat is disappointed with the sum and is missing the cows. They aren’t dairy farmers anymore.
