  • Kenton has invited Jolene to a special promotion at a wholesalers on Tuesday, but it seems no-one is available to cover in the bar. Clarrie thinks Rhys might be able to help – he can, so an unusually cheerful Jolene looks forward to her day out.
  • Pat calls at the Lodge to discuss Peggy’s birthday party. Peggy doesn’t want any fuss, so it will just be close family. Peggy reveals her renewed contact with Conn. Her emailing lessons with the saintly Harry have had dramatic effects. Conn even asked about Jack, which surprised Peggy in view of the rivalry between him and Jack when he came to visit all those years ago.
  • Robert irritates Lynda by trying out sound effects for the panto. She’s depressed at the lack of support, but the even more saintly Harry assures her that it will be wonderful. He continues to ingratiate himself by staying behind after rehearsals to tidy up, moving heavy items around and being hugely enthusiastic. He even comes up with a cunning plan to get Jazzer back at rehearsals.
  • Lynda wishes she could persuade Fallon to take on the role of Alice Fitzwarren, but there’s no chance. Jolene suggests that Fallon might produce a backing track instead. Lynda is much cheered at the idea.
