Helen finally explodes at Tony and say she can do without him.
Radio Times: Helen is overloaded and Elizabeth handles a domestic crisis.
Characters: Elizabeth, Jill, Kenton, Lewis, Pat, Tony- Vicky is doing well. Not up to Clarrie’s speed but getting there and getting on well with Susan. Things are getting a bit easier.
- Lily is definitely getting fed up with the extra tuition and has even thrown a tantrum with Freddie since he’s got a part in the panto despite failing one of his practice papers. Jill is really cross when she hears it and tries to get Lewis on her side. She also tries to raise it with Elizabeth too but she insists that they are doing the best for him and that he understands that if he doesn’t get in he won’t be a failure. Jill isn’t convinced but is pleased to hear they are having a 10 day break.
- Helen is shopping for Christmas when she bumps into Kenton and is very off with him. She is still in a state when Tony comes across her but won’t let him help. She has a go at him because he says he doesn’t want to see her struggling on her own. Tony is shocked and hurt and says she isn’t being fair. She demands that he believes in her and is supportive. It’s pathetic that he lies about it. She can do without him. Tony is devastated.
- Kenton is getting highwayman costumes out of the attic. He’s planning a special something for the Christmas Fair at Lower Loxley.
- Tony tells Pat what happened with Helen. Pat tries to say it must have just been a bad time. Tony thinks it must be more than that. They will have to try to sort it out in the morning but he doesn’t even know where to start.
