  • After the BL board meeting at Grey Gable Justin confirms that Home Farm will keep the arable contract despite Martin Gibson’s arguments about using more pesticides. Adam is “forced” to stay for a drink and lunch but is hugely uncomfortable when all Justin can do is eulogise about Lilian and their wedding plans. Brian tells some stories about Lilian – Nelson’s attempt to get her into a partnership in a wine bar. Adam is less giving. Ian appears and Adam says they can walk home together.
  • Kirsty and Lexi are still working on her English. Kirsty tries to tempt her to a book signing which Lexi and Roy might enjoy. Lexi says she isn’t angry with Roy anymore about talking to Adam about the graffiti. She understands that Roy was just trying to do a good thing. Lexi wants to go home but she needs the money. And she likes things about Ambridge…. and then Roy walks in. Kirsty tries to suggest that Lexi stays for supper and suddenly she needs to leave. Kirsty suggests Roy follows her and offers her a lift and a date. Roy tells her not to be ridiculous
  • Once Lexi has gone Kirsty and Roy talk about how unsettling it is that they don’t know if Oliver is selling. But even so, Kirsty tries to push him to ask Lexi out. Roy doesn’t see any point since she is leaving in a few weeks.
  • Ian insists to Adam that he must tell Justin what he saw. Adam doesn’t want to destroy Lilian’s life. Ian says he must do something. What Lilian is doing is outrageous. Justin is getting a divorce and buying the Dower House all for Lilian. He can’t just leave it. Adam pauses and Ian accuses him of wanting to take the easy way out. Is he really going to stand by and do nothing?
