- Elizabeth makes her formal offer to Roy. He seems impressed.
- Lynda is shocked to see the list of candidates for the Parish Council. There are 8 candidates for 6 places. Jim thinks it’s good for democracy but the idea of Richard Thwaite and Hilary Noakes standing horrifies Lynda. They are newcomers!!
- Jamie asks for some holiday work at The Bull. Jolene asks him if that means he is still planning to be there all the holidays and he flies off the handle. He begs to be allowed to stay and Fallon and Jolene agree he can stay. And they agree they will try to find him something but he’ll need a work permit and Kathy will have to sign it.
- Jamie does arrange to meet Kathy to discuss the work permit. But she brings up that she has had a call from school that he has skipped lessons – even on the last day of term. She starts off well but then begins to lose it again and refuses to agree there and then to the work permit. She will let him know.
