Radio Times: Jennifer issues an apology and Roy sacrifices his own feelings

Characters: Alice, Christopher, Jennifer, Justin, Lexi, Roy, Susan

• Roy takes Lexi up Lakey Hill and they talk about the river pollution before Roy changes the subject to the surrogacy. He wants her to be happy, and if it will make her happy to be the surrogate for Ian and Adam, then he is happy for her to do it.
• Susan discusses Brian’s woes with Christopher, and that Brian only cares about money. Unfortunately, Alice overhears.
• Jennifer calls round to the Dower House only to be received by a very frosty Justin. She apologises for having previously accused him of selling contaminated land to Brian. He accepts her apology.
• Having told Ian and Adam the good news, Roy and Lexi discuss where she will be living once she finished her contract at Grey Gables. Roy assumes that she will be moving into Willow Farm. Once asked, Lexi is happy to be moving in with him.
• After leaving Ambridge View, Chris and Alice talk about Susan’s big mouth. Alice admits that she is rather grumpy with work, Christmas is over etc. Chris suggests that Alice could stop working, as he brings in enough now. When he suggests that they could start a family, Alice says she’s not ready yet. They drive off to go home, via The Bull.
• Just as Jennifer is leaving the Dower House, Justin invites her and Brian to a drinks party next week, one that Latif will be attending.
