Jill persuades Pip to let David and Ruth meet Jude.

• Jill is managing to keep going most of the time. She’s begun sorting through his things and has brought some things for Pip. Pip is late back from lunch with Jude and David makes his displeasure very clear. Pip, however, is really touched by the gifts – music mainly that she used to play with Phil. Jill persuades Pip it would be a good idea to let David and Ruth meet Phil. Later Jill suggests David and Pip invite Jude round so they suggest tea on Tuesday.
• Helen asks for help with completing the form for the fertility clinic and Tony leaves the room instantly which upsets Helen. Pat and Tony have another argument about it but Tony won’t change his mind.
