Justin appoints Anthea to be his PA and decides to investigate what Matt is up to.

Radio Times: Justin hears it straight from the horse’s mouth, and Freddie is fed up with his lot

Characters: Anisha, Elizabeth, Freddie, Justin, Lilian, Matt, Rex

• Freddie is still having a bad time with his exams. Elizabeth tries to make the best of it and while Freddie says he has really messed up, Elizabeth thinks a revision plan will make the difference. They simply aren’t on the same page, especially when she tries to take his phone and laptop away. Freddie storms off.
• Anisha is off for a run while Lilian is off for a hack. Lilian thinks Justin is joining her. Justin admits he was initially reluctant to consider Anthea – it felt as if she was interviewing him but in the end he agreed that since he seemed to have made the grade as far as she was concerned, he didn’t feel he could turn her down. She was just the right sort of mature capable woman to look after things. Then he lets Lilian down by saying he can’t go for a ride, he needs to meet his planning guy. But he’ll take her out to dinner to make up for it.
• Freddie and Elizabeth try to make up. Freddie has done a whole maths paper. She says she knows how tough it is. Lilian passes by on her ride. Freddie tells her how bad the exams are while Johnny gets to go to the Isle of Wight with a really hot girl. Who would be 17 again?
• Rex and Anisha meet up while they are both running. Anisha wonders where he has been. Rex remembers it as if Anisha walked out on him though Anisha seems to remember him calling her stupid. They have a race to the top.
• Justin bumps into Matt. Justin has heard that he has been talking to his friend, Latif. Justin hopes he isn’t going to get Latif mixed up in anything but Matt says he had nothing to do with it. Matt thought the fund was closed but Latif went straight to the top. Justin sounds slightly reassured. Lilian appears and Matt leaves but Justin says he is going to investigate to see what is going on.
