Kate is on a mission to “bond” with Phoebe; Rob is on a mission to enlarge his family.

Characters: Brian, Helen, Henry, Jennifer, Kate, Phoebe, Pip, Rob- Adam having jetted off to Florida, Phoebe helps Brian with lambing and tagging. She empathises with those lambs that are orphaned and then rejected by their adoptive mothers. She has plans to help Alice prepare food for Jenny’s upcoming birthday. Pip calls in to return Phoebe’s lost hat and drop off a pack of meat from David.
- Helen, Rob and Henry enjoy a walk in the park. Rob continues unabashed to pursue the idea of Henry having a brother or sister. Helen wonders whether the idea of a marriage should come first.
- Pip and Phoebe swap stories of the Young Farmers New Year do. They disturb Kate who is trying to meditate and she is not best pleased. She had expected her daughter to join her to rid herself of “negative thoughts”. Pip manages to make good her escape before being roped in to a meditation “taster” session.
- Having met Charlie, Jenny tells Brian that he plans to be at the Oxford conference for the full three days. He asked how Adam and Ian were getting on in Florida. Brian has not yet forgiven Adam for leaving him in the lurch. Jenny is just so pleased to see that there is no personal animosity between Adam and Charlie. Indeed!
- Henry goes to retrieve a football in a knockabout with Rob and Helen. Not willing to let a good opportunity pass, Rob harps on about what good fun he used to have with his brother when he was younger. How wonderful siblings are! Helen however is more interested in quizzing Rob about Charlie’s social life.
- Phoebe ties to escape from her mother who is insisting that the two of them should get together far more often in order that she may offer life guidance and bond with her daughter. Phoebe manages to hightail it back to the safety of the lambing sheds with Brian, as Jenny walks in. Jenny offers a little motherly advice to Kate. She should tread very carefully in her developing relationship with Phoebe. Kate? Careful?
