Characters: Jack, Kenton, Lilian, Pat, Peggy, Roy

• Peggy is taking Jack to the hospital for his memory test. He is clearly struggling. The Doctor arranges for a visit from the Community Psychiatric Nurse. Lilian is trying to get some more support for Peggy from the family. It is clear she is exhausted.
• Lilian meanwhile interrogates Roy on seeing him come out of No. 1 The Green. Roy admits they’d love to buy it but aren’t sure they can afford it. And he hears later that their offer has been turned down.
• Pat tells Kenton how worried she is about Kathy but Kenton is on the case. He’s arranged to take her away for a few days. He is getting everything sorted so she has no excuse to say no!
