Lilian enjoys a romantic weekend. Tom complains about his workload. Pat tries to talk Tony out of taking on more work.

Radio Times: Lilian feels uncomfortable and Jazzer is fed up.

Characters: , , , , ,
  • Paul brings Lilian breakfast in bed and the promise of lunch in a restaurant. Lilian is still concerned that they might meet someone Paul knows, but he insists he would just introduce her as a friend.
  • As Tom and Jazzer move the arks, Tom moans endlessly about how busy he is and how he lacks help. Jazzer points out that he, too, is busy, and when Vicky has the baby he will be busier still, doing Mike’s milk round.
  • Now he is feeling so much better, Tony wants to offer Tom more help, and tells Pat he would like to take on more of the milking. Pat is horrified, and does her best to talk Tony out of it. Tom arrives, and Pat urges him to stay for lunch, but Tom is far too busy; he and Brenda must have a working lunch to finalise the farmhouse breakfast idea. Pat manages to get him to agree to come for a meal tomorrow.
  • Still moaning, Tom gives Jazzer a lift to The Bull for a pint as a reward for his help with the pigs. He mentions the meal Pat has offered; with luck it will mean that they are going to discuss Tony doing more to help.
  • The Watford two watch an old film and sing ‘let’s face the music…’. Lilian is worried because Matt keeps texting and she fears that her string of lies will soon trip her up. She will have to go back tomorrow.
