Lilian finds out more about Matt’s dealings with the Walters and isn’t happy.
Radio Times: Alistair offers some constructive criticism and Lilian needs to find out more.
Characters: Alistair, Darrell, Jazzer, Jim, Lilian, Matt, Shula- Jazzer is still boring people with his Roman facts when Lilian turns up to talk to Darrell. She interrogates him about his leaving of the Walter’s house. She tells him about Joyce’s accident. She reassures him it wasn’t his fault. She is clearly still blaming Matt although she is clearly not happy.
- Shula and Alistair invite Jim round to rescue him from Jazzer but Jim says he doesn’t really mind, he is asleep most of the time Jim is awake. Harry knocked a few rough edges off him and Jim will aim for a few more. He thinks he’ll let him stay and see what he can make of him. Jim shows Alistair his draft article for Borchester Life. Alistair doesn’t really think it suits the BL audience, particularly the Latin quotes. He suggests he thinks about Sabrina Thwaite as his audience.
- When Lilian gets back to the Dower House, Matt says he’s been worrying about her but she sees it as checking up on her – because he was worried what she had been doing. She goes straight to bed and Matt wonders what is going on.
