Lilian is unsettled. Phoebe is glad to be settled.

Radio Times: Fallon feels stuck in a rut and Lilian has a lot on her mind.

• Nursing a hangover, Lilian declines an invitation to lunch with Matt, because she has arranged to meet Jenny in The Bull. Matt offers to come as well. He thinks Lilian is out of sorts; she says it is from being stuck in a rut.
• Kenton helps out at The Bull, eager to tell anyone who will listen about his holiday, but it seems that Fallon and Rhys have no need of him as they have everything under control. Fallon still feels bad about the effect of the comedy night on some customers, but Kenton reassures her.
• In a strangely stilted and unconvincing exchange, Josh helps Phoebe with the chickens. She is off to church with Jennifer and Peggy, so Josh volunteers to stay behind and clean out the hen house. He happily accepts an invitation to stay for lunch. When Phoebe returns she tells him she does not miss South Africa; you know where you are in Ambridge.
• At The Bull Lilian confides in Jennifer; she is disturbed by the news that Paul is back in the area, but realises that their brief encounter was a long time ago and much has happened since then, so maybe it is best left.
