Lilian tells Paul she doesn’t think Andrew didn’t suspect anything but Paul seems not to give a damn.
Radio Times: Lilian feels jumpy, and Matt is honing his interrogation skills.
Characters: Andrew Eagleton, Brian, Darrell, Lilian, Matt, Neil, Paul- Lilian is getting herself into a state about the BL board meeting. Matt is wondering why she is so jumpy and then asks her to say hello to Andrew for him.
- Brian tells Andrew how impressed he was with Neil doing the right thing at the dog fight. He is so grateful. Andrew asks Lilian how she got on at the races but Brian isn’t paying attention and Lilian manages to change the subject. Brian seems more interested in his Borchester Life interview.
- Matt bumps into Darrell and tells him how brave he thinks he was. He did the right thing. He bets his family is really impressed with him.
- Lilian tries to have a chat with Andrew. She makes out that she wants his advice on a builder who specialises in restoration – the “man” at the racecourse wasn’t suitable. He says he can’t offer her any advice but he’ll give her a buzz if he has a brainwave.
- Brian finds Neil and asks him to supper to say thank you for his bravery. Then Darrell turns up and Brian invites him too. Darrell is getting very jumpy, especially about the press coverage. But Neil says they just have to stick to the story. There was nothing else he could have done.
- Lilian tells Paul he doesn’t think Andrew suspects anything. Paul just isn’t interested. They can’t live without risks, it’s not important. Lilian isn’t too impressed.
