Jazzer is still determined to convince Ed that Fallon is worth going for but Ed isn’t hearing him. He still has a picture of George with him and listens to music he and Emma used to listen to. But he does have a screen saver of Fallon on his computer.
Jamie is showing signs of being ill – stomach pains but he is asking questions about whether Kathy is ill or if she and Kenton are going to split up. He’s also being very clingy.
Glen, editor of “BLife” turns up at Ambridge Hall. She is surprised to find he’s not there to sack her but to commend her on her “muscular” prose. Her fervour is just what he is looking for. So he wants to keep her on and even ends up agreeing to re send the checks she already has so she can cash them.
Lynda tells Ed and Jazzer about her success with BLife. She suggests that it is a question of “Carpe Diem”, though Jazzer sees it more as a case of “Who Dares Wins”. Ed finds out that Emma has split up with Callum. He says it means nothing and Jazzer reckons Ed needs to move on.
