Radio Times: Helen learns a tough lesson.

Characters: , , , , , , ,
  • Helen meets Kenton on his way to panto rehearsal, and tells him how well things are going with Ross. But then Helen goes to Ross’s local to see why he hasn’t been responding to her messages and texts.
  • Jill is a very convincing wicked stepmother, snapping at Alice and then pulling Alice’s corset strings so tight that Alice nearly expires. Finally she has a go at Lynda, and walks off stage.
  • Poor Lynda finds her role as artistic director very trying. Brian hasn’t turned up to prompt, Kenton sends the whole thing up, Jazzer goes to sleep and finally David resigns from the show.
  • Helen tracks Ross down, but seemingly can’t read the very obvious signs. She asks him to come to the farm on Sunday, but after trying, and failing, to make her see how things are, Ross tells her straight; she’s too old for him, they don’t have things in common, and he doesn’t want anything to do with her. He tells Helen to go home.
