- Fallon goes to visit Jazzer. He is feeling very sorry for himself. He isn’t talking to anyone. He isn’t good company at the moment. Fallon admits she has come round to ask Jazzer out to lunch to talk about Bridge Farm.
- Matthew does visit Home Farm to see Pip with the new cows for one last time. Pip tells him he was right. They can’t be together at the moment. Matthew says it’s the hardest thing he’s had to do and they agree that it is best in the long term. They say goodbye with a final kiss.
- Rex turns up to see Josh but Ruth says he is in college. Rex just wanted a moan about Toby. His latest obsession involved bringing forward some filming without telling Josh. Rex wonders where Pip is now that that Matthew is back. Ruth tells him he’s gone already.
- Fallon buys Jazzer lunch. He is still pretending he doesn’t care. Fallon knows Tom fired him in the heat of the moment but he was exhausted and stressed out. Fallon is sure he regrets it. Jazzer is his right hand man. Jazzer says it is too late to sort things out even though he really rates Helen and Henry. Fallon bullies him into going back to the farm to help her out with the jumble trail. Jazzer says he’ll think about it. Fallon tells Kirsty “mission accomplished” so hopefully the pigs will be staying where they are.
- Toby is, apparently, still trying to get drone photos of the intensive poultry unit. Rex said he’d managed to calm the owner down and promised not to use the footage. He’d also arranged to collect the new goslings. Pip tells him Matthew and she have split up. He knew already and thought he would try to cheer her up. Rex is happy to be a shoulder to cry on.
