Pip comes home and Christopher works on his speech

Radio Times: Toby has an announcement to make and Alice attempts to be diplomatic

Characters: Alice, Christopher, David, Jill, Josh, Pip, Ruth, Toby

• David is ensuring that Toby can fit the baby seat properly in the car. Ruth wants him to give Toby a chance.
• Alice is upset that the estate agents have already been called in. Christopher tells her that she needs to get used to the idea of the farmhouse being sold.
• When Pip comes home, the whole family is there waiting for her, except for the ever-silent Ben. Josh jokes that she will be skiving for a while yet. They announce the name of the baby, Rosie Ruth Archer. David has made a crib for Rosie, Pip is overjoyed
• Christopher practises his best-man speech, Alice is not impressed. He has only known Harrison for a few years, so knows no tales of his youth.
• David and Ruth discuss the next generation, just as Josh comes along to tell him that he’s needed elsewhere, to run his own business.
