Pip finally goes to Yorkshire and Caroline finally goes to Italy.

Radio Times: Ticket sales are going well, and Pip’s off for the time of her life.

Characters: Caroline, David, Kathy, Oliver, Pat, Ruth

• Ticket sells for the concert are doing well. Caroline and Oliver will miss it though. But even on the day they are going on holiday she insists on going to the hotel to see the plumber and says Oliver will have to pick her up from the hotel to go to the airport. She is nearly late even then faffing with dead heading of the hanging baskets which says more about her inability to manage the gardener than anything else.
• Kathy is having more problems at the golf club. The staff cuts mean that the food isn’t going out on time and the staff are getting more complaints. Pat books her in for a swim and a massage.
• Ruth and David are preparing to send Pip off. She seems to have packed everything she owns. It’s going to be hard for Spencer and Pip. Ruth wonders if they’ll survive the separation. She finally gets going. They hope she’ll be okay. She’ll probably have the time of her life.
• At Grey Gables Caroline tells Kathy they can’t have the massage but offers them free champagne instead which apparently makes them drunk before they even start it. But Pat does tell her to come up with some ideas of her own which might even make him reverse her cuts.
