Pip makes Emma jealous. Fallon makes a decision.

Radio Times: Kenton is getting impatient and Pip is on a spending spree.

Characters: Emma, Fallon, Jolene, Kenton, Pip, Rhys

• Kenton is anxious for Fallon to make a decision about taking his place at Jaxx. Jolene tries to point out that Fallon needs time to think about it, but Kenton needs a decision by tomorrow when he has a meeting with Don and Jim.
• Rhys and Fallon are cheerful, looking forward to acting together in Lynda’s Elizabethan Revels, and wondering when they can fit rehearsals in. Over coffee Fallon tells Rhys about Kenton’s proposal. To her surprise, Rhys is all for it. It will be a wonderful opportunity for her, and clearly Kenton has recognised her talents. Fallon asks whether Rhys will mind. To her surprise, Rhys tells her it is a fantastic piece of news
• Pip arrives home from clothes shopping for a ski trip and the party season, and meets Emma. With crashing insensitivity, Pip launches into an account of how much she bought and how much it all cost. She insists that Emma should come in for a cup of tea so that Pip can show her all the new clothes. Poor Emma tells Pip that she has had an invitation to the posh London wedding of a school friend, but there is no way they could afford to go. Even Pip’s offer of the loan of some clothes will not help Emma.
• Fallon tells a delighted Jolene she has made up her mind. When Kenton appears, he shares her excitement. It seems that everyone is pleased about it … except Fallon.
