  • Fallon and Harrison wake up together. The boiler isn’t working in the flat and they squabble gently about what is best on toast and then Harrison comes up with the idea of a 1940s Big Band evening at The Bull for Valentine’s Day.
  • Pat is getting a box of veg ready for Lilian and she also has good news that Tony is being moved to the orthopaedic ward at Felpersham so no more driving to Birmingham and Pat might be able to get back to work. Pat does ask Helen about the shop and she agrees there is a problem but she doesn’t want to go back to work – and nor does Rob. Pat asks why Rob is prepared to let things slide when he was responsible for appointing Tina. Helen says things are a bit difficult and admits that Jess is claiming that the baby is his and is claiming maintenance. Helen insists it can’t be true though Pat sounds a bit more doubtful. Helen says he is really angry and he needs her. Pat says the answer is a DNA test but Helen says he doesn’t want to. She thinks Rob would think it meant she didn’t trust him. Pat insists it would be the only way of getting Jess off their backs.
  • Lilian is phoning the bank to find out that all of the accounts have been cleared out when Pat arrives. She tries to explain the mess to Pat by saying a contractor is complaining about an unpaid bill. Then Lilian remembers she should have asked about Tony.
  • Fallon tells Jolene about Harrison’s idea and they think they should arrange a few practise sessions in The Bull upstairs beforehand. Harrison appears with a jar of chocolate spread….
  • Rob gets another letter from the CMS insisting he takes a paternity test. Helen tries to tell him it’s the only way to get rid of her. Rob says she will win if he does. Helen says he will win if he doesn’t. Rob insists that he is not going to dance to her tune.
  • Harrison visits Lilian. He realised what has happened and Lilian admits that Matt has taken everything – even the wine in the cellar. Harrison promises not to tell anyone about it and Lilian says she is not giving up on Matt now. They will sort this out together.
