Shula decides to offer Darrell a room at The Stables.

Radio Times: Shula makes her determination clear, and Kirsty has some fun.

Characters: Alan, Darrell, Helen, Kirsty, Rob, Shula

• The story of Helen’s necklace is passing around the village. Kirsty is rather concerned and even more so when Helen says she is meeting Rob for lunch just up the road. When she gets to the pub, Rob is on the phone to Jess about agents. He says it’s to do with a problem with their landlord but is clearly agitated. She says they can meet another time. And then to make it worse she bumps into Alan and has to make another excuse.
• Shula tracks Darrell down again and persuades him to join her for lunch in Jaxx. He won’t talk much though. She tries to persuade him to go back to the Elms and he gets really annoyed. He is not ever going back to the Elms.
• When Helen gets back to Ambridge Organics, Kirsty tries to tell Helen that things aren’t over between Rob and Jess and she needs to face up to it. Helen says she isn’t feeling supported but Kirsty say she just doesn’t want to see Helen hurt.
• Shula tells Alan she doesn’t know what to do about Darrell. She has decided to offer him a room at The Stables. Alan is really shocked. But once he sees she has made up her mind, he offers her his support.
