Shula finally agrees Darrell can’t come back to The Stables.

Radio Times: Shula struggles with her emotions. Meanwhile, Rosa cannot cope.

Characters: Alistair, Kirsty, Lynda, Shula, Tom

• Shula is determined to go to visit Darrell at the hospital even though he refused to see her yesterday. Alistair is desperately trying to get her to leave it to the professionals. But she is even blaming herself for having paracetamol in the house. And then Shula turns onto Alistair and says he was as bad when he was gambling and he tells her that when he was that bad, she threw him out. Shula then storms off.
• Tom is shocked to think he might have walked straight past Darrell. It does make things seem trivial. Still, Lynda is determined to press on with rehearsals with Tom as the new Robin Hood. Kirsty finds it hard to concentrate and giggles most of the way through. Finally when it settles down, they get into rhythm with the proposal scene.
• Shula does see Darrell at the hospital and while she is there Rosa turns up. Shula encourages her to stay but she says she can’t and runs off. Rosa says he has done it deliberately but Shula says he has never blamed her or her mother. But Rosa insists she will not be blackmailed by him anymore.
• When Shula comes back to The Stables, Dan is there with Alistair and they tell her that Darrell can’t come back to The Stables. Shula is shocked but they insist he must leave it to the professionals. They are worried about her and there is nothing she can do. But she agrees he won’t be living with them anymore.
