Characters: Alistair, David, Debbie, Eddie, Joe, Larry, Shula

• Alistair’s testing the main herd and finds eight reactors, including Ruth’s favourite cow, Melanie. David is not looking forward to telling Ruth about her or Phil about the proof of TB in the main herd. That means twenty cows in total.
• Larry’s conducting the main audition and is unwilling to give any parts away until he’s had a chance to mull over the whole ensemble and whether it’ll gel together properly. Joe’s decided that he wants to be in the fashion show as well as the panto!
• Shula and Alistair are dining out – until he gets a call to a difficult calving, as his partner was unavailable. Shula doesn’t mind, indeed, she helps him out and quite enjoys the experience.
