  • Is there a photographer in the whole wide world good enough for Susan’s family photograph? It must be modern, stylish and distinctive. Sounds pricey. She has found a studio that does society weddings. Perhaps she will get some ideas from the photo Kenton had done of his family.
  • There’s a Bridge Farm finance meeting – without Helen for now. The family court bills cost more than £30k. The only option is to extend the mortgage, on that they all agree.
  • Somewhere in The Bull’s storeroom, among the spiders and cobwebs, is the object of Susan’s interest. Apart from the size – it is almost life sized – it’s pretty good of all the Archer family.
  • As Tony and Johnny set off to collect the Fordson, Tom queries whether this is the right time to be buying an old tractor. Pat insists that Tony needs something to take his mind off the twice-weekly ordeal of dealing with Rob. There won’t be another word from Tom.
  • The studio where the Archers’ photo was taken is no longer in business; there being nobody local who is any good, Susan’s plan involves a London studio. Neil is also told he will need a haircut and to lose a bit of weight; there is a hint that it might be worth his while – know what I mean, nudge, nudge, wink, wink.
