• Jack’s still trying to convince George to stay on as keeper until the end of the season, George is not keen but, with the offer of a bonus and an assistant, promises to think about it.
• Ruth and Usha hit the town and go salsa dancing – with Ruth deciding that there’s more to life than Brookfield’s cows and that she will apply for the consultancy jobs.
• It’s the day of the big fashion parade and despite Joe modelling his suit in his slippers, Peggy modelling a ball gown that she wasn’t keen on (but which Jack liked enough to buy for her) and Lynda moaning about Larry’s performance as compere, all goes well and the evening seems a complete success.
