The repairs to Ed’s milking bale will cost £4000 and Ed doesn’t know how he will get through.

Radio Times: Oliver gets some practice and Ed receives bad news.

Characters: Caroline, Ed, Emma, Fallon, Oliver, Rhys

• Fallon and Rhys wake up together and admit they might have thought about it a little in advance! Rhys admits he’s always been interested in her but didn’t want to say anything when they were working together. Now their only problem will be scheduling the same nights off.
• Ed is still having problems with the bale. It is going to need a new pump and motor and new electrics. It’s a relief that he can get it fixed today. But it is all going to cost around £4,000.
• Oliver is beginning to practise his sonnet and Caroline feels guilty for not starting to drum up the sponsorship. Oliver offers to help.
• Ed struggles to tell Emma. He didn’t have a choice. The cows have got to be milked. Emma is very shocked but tries to be understanding. Ed just bursts into tears.
