  • Nigel tries to demonstrate the importance of Remembrance Sunday to Lilly and Freddie. They say they understand but a drink and biscuits sounds more attractive. Hayley has finally broken the news to Elizabeth that she is pregnant.
  • The massed ranks of the Archers gather to choose the 50th Anniversary photo. Everyone is determined there is only one photo. Unfortunately, they all like that different special one. And then Phil and Jill walk in. Jill realises something is up and tries to leave rapidly but Phil is sublimely unaware. It’s obviously a day for secrets all round – even Phil was up to something in Borchester.
  • Nigel is still planning on buying a shire horse – once they’ve done the handling course. But Elizabeth is wondering whether there will be anyone left to see the horses. What if she doesn’t want to come back? She really is irreplaceable.
