There is to be another Ambridge wedding – Adam and Ian.
Radio Times: Lilian confides in Jolene, and things seem to be going well for Emma.
Characters: Ed, Emma, Helen, Ian, Jolene, Lilian- Ed is still worrying about losing four cows and whether it is the thin end of the wedge; he regrets not having more money to spend on the wedding. Emma encourages him and assures him that a simple wedding is what she wants but in future he must not keep things from her; they are partners.
- Jolene is an early caller at The Dower House; she woke early worrying about Lilian. Didn’t Matt leave a note? “Sorry Puss-cat” is all it said. He is in Costa Rica; he sent a text on Friday. Lilian thought he loved her; whatever trouble he is, how could he not tell her?
- Over coffee with Ian, Helen explains her worries over the shop. She might have to go back to working there. Ian is hoping that Helen will be at the Valentine’s Day dance, since neither of their partners is keen on dancing. Helen enquires about the recent holiday and learns that it went so well they realised that they want to be properly married.
- Back at The Bull, Jolene reports that Lilian is in a really bad place. Jolene will help her cope with the emotional upset and Kenton will tie Dave down about the date of the sale, once he has had the meeting with Justin Elliott on Thursday.
- Helen has moved on to Emma’s for lunch and to hear all about the wedding plans. Helen shares the news about Adam and Ian getting ‘properly’ married – though she probably shouldn’t have done – also her worries about the shop but she stops short of telling Emma what is really worrying her – though she probably shouldn’t have done.
