Tom shows Brenda the place he thinks would be perfect for them to build a house but Brenda doesn’t sound quite convinced.

Jamie is still struggling with college. He hates the work and he’s no good at it. He hasn’t got any friends there and Natalie is ignoring him. Kathy suggests going to the college together to talk about it but Jamie isn’t having any of it. He’s said he’ll stay and that’s it.
Matt and Lilian are having a slightly tense conversation over breakfast with Matt showing a sudden interest in the church renovation project. She tries to draw Matt out on the Walters house but Matt stonewalls her. Later she even refuses a peace offering of a lunch out.
Tom has finally found a place to cook Tom’s ready meals. Brenda is pleased to see him happy again. Later they go up to the pigs together. They find a spot with the best view on the farm. He suggests it might be a perfect place for a house. Brenda doesn’t sound so sure.
Josh sits with Phoebe on the school bus. She’s very upset that her friends have arranged to go to the cinema at a time when she couldn’t manage them. Josh offers to help her with the hens to make up. She admits to him that school is a bit of a struggle. She thought she’d fit back in but it was actually easier making new friends in South Africa. Josh wondered if it was because of the baby but Phoebe says no, she isn’t embarrassed about it. Josh suggests she makes friends with one of the girls whose brother has Downs Syndrome.
