Radio Times:
Characters: Alan, Emma, Kathy, Kenton, Usha, William- Alan rings Usha to suggest she doesn’t come to the Vicarage for a meal. Mabel is still firmly opposed to the marriage, though praying for Usha’s conversion, and Alan feels that Amy needs time with Mabel. So he’ll come to Usha’s and cook for them both.
- It’s quiet at Jaxx, and Kenton is just about to let Emma go early when the phone rings. It’s Will, to say he’s bringing George back to Emma’s. Emma is understandably confused and worried, but Will just says George needs to be with people who love him right now.
- Kathy gets home late and shaken. Her liaison officer has told her that Taylor’s defence team are asking for two separate trials, so Kathy will have to go through it all on her own. Because she has no medical evidence, and didn’t report the rape for so long, it looks as though she has a weak case. Taylor can’t be called a serial offender. Kathy says that if the judge grants the application, she’ll pull out.
- Alan and Usha agree it’s been a tough couple of days. Alan tells Usha she’s a great comfort to him, but their kiss is interrupted by a call from Satya, who is coming to see Usha tomorrow. She won’t say why.
- Will brings George to Emma, and tells her that he and Nic have split up because of what he witnessed. Emma is upset, but insists it wasn’t Will’s fault. He admits that he should have listened to Emma and Ed. Emma reassures him, and says it won’t stop him having George at weekends. She knows he loves George, and George loves him.
