William is determined Ed and Emma will make George feel left out because of the baby.

Radio Times: Will is unhappy with the new state of affairs and Brian faces childcare challenges.

• William grumpily decides that Ed deliberately arranged for Emma to have the baby the day before George’s birthday just to spite him. Nic tries to reason with him but he is having none of it and is determined that George will be pushed aside and he won’t let that happen. George doesn’t seem keen on the baby anyway.
• Brian is struggling a bit with looking after Ruairi but manages to palm him off onto Will for the afternoon. Lilian is enjoying Amside at the moment. They’ve had their offer accepted on No. 3 The Green and she likes cracking the whip over the builders.
• Emma hasn’t decided what to call the baby yet. It has to begin with S for some reason. Clarrie is worried they will choose something strange and the baby will suffer for it.
• Ed is totally smitten with the baby. He can’t believe they will trust them to take her home.
