Characters: Clive, David, Mike, Neil, Ruth, Susan, Tony

• Neil’s off to the Royal Show and as he leaves his place at the breakfast table is taken by Clive, who’s not a particularly welcome guest, but seems to have evaded detection thus far. There’s work around for him, allegedly.
• David has been banned coffee until the baby’s born because it tempts Ruth too much!
• Clive visits Susan at the estate office and is almost caught by David, who thinks that Graham is in because of the noise and is suspicious when Susan denies it. More importantly though is that he attempts to dig for information – and strikes oil. He asks about the status of Brian’s bid for the land, Susan’s surprised he knew but doesn’t deny it.
• David and Ruth aren’t best pleased with Brian and decide not to tell Tony, who’s dropped in to further his own detective work. David’s even more shocked though as Tony tells him that bid cover whole estate, not just the inhand land. They’re both very suspicious at what is the motive behind the scheme.
