• The dark cloud is still over Grange Farm, as Eddie and Clarrie bemoan the differences between Guy and Simon. Eddie plans to see Shula to see if there’s any way forward.
• Eddie goes to see Shula, who mistakenly assumes he’s come to pay the rent (albeit three days late!) Shula is supportive but sceptical that there’s anything more to be done, especially due to the fall-out from the car-boot sales.
• Hayley mentions to Marjorie that she has a Cinderella script which she wrote, spurred on by Bert’s encouragement over her poetry.
• John, who was driving to Norfolk to collect some weaners, is very late returning, no matter where Ambridge is, it can’t take 8 hours to drive back from Norfolk …..
