• Julia is trying to organise a grand re-opening for the wine-bar, although Nelson prefers the idea of a low key affair.
• Susan drops cryptic messages about visit “a friend” in Borchester with an intimation that it could be Usha’s colleague.
• Larry appreciates Phil’s arrival as “musical director” for the panto – although Phil isn’t sure that it really involves anything more than playing the piano!
• Susan gets the cold shoulder and no chance to explain when she visits Grange Farm, with Clarrie seeing no excuse for her choice between her job and her friends.
• Larry and Julia meet, and are old friends from the stage! Julia takes this as a sign to get involved ….
