Characters: Clive, Hayley, Janet, John, Lynda, Marjorie, Sharon

• It’s the last night of the play and another full house.
• Sharon’s here to watch and says a brief hello to Mrs Antrobus and makes arrangements for an interval meeting with John.
• Lynda is in Kathy’s bad books, firstly for allowing Sean the rights for the bar at the play and also for upsetting Jamie’s baby-sitting schedule by having his regulars in the play.
• John and Sharon meet in an outhouse and get to know each other again ….. Later, at the post-play party, he’s not in the best of moods with Hayley.
• Majorie left the party early but returned in distress, upon returning home she saw lights on and movements in her house and drove straight back. She’s in a real state and Clive is being very sympathetic.
