• Satya left the previous day, and while Usha is mostly glad, she does recognise Richard’s gratitude toward her. She’s feeling guilty that she’s not putting herself out in the same way as he did at the time of the attacks. She’s arranged a few afternoons off and is going to cook dinner. Richard was trying to forget things for himself and upset her plans, upsetting her in the process.
• The Americans have arrived, although haven’t presented themselves for inspection beyond picking up the keys from Home Farm.
• The playground is almost complete, the handover is scheduled for Thursday.
• Julia is sulking after Nelson rejected Rocco’s designs.
• Shula is very concerned at the Grundy’s future, particularly as Simon obviously wants them out and there’s nothing she can do. Although he’s ultimately liable for the repair bills, recourse to law will take up too much time.
