• Preparations are well advanced for the imminent arrival at Lower Loxley.
• Clarrie’s busy plucking turkeys and Eddie doesn’t mind whether the healthy level of orders are due to sympathy or otherwise.
• Nelson is getting fed up at the panto, especially at Julia’s dance routine for him and Nigel (which sounds like a herd of elephants!)
• Nigel and Lizzie’s plans for a quiet Christmas a deux are spoilt as it becomes apparent that Julia has invited herself (and Nelson) to dinner at Lower Loxley.
• Caroline invites the Grundys to the Dower House for Christmas – and “doesn’t notice” when she catches Eddie “hand-trimming” the estate’s hedges for holly!
