• It’s Clarrie’s birthday and Eddie’s bought her a diamond eternity ring, which she’s over the moon with.
• Joe’s ducked out of helping Eddie prepare for the evening’s barbeque at Grange Farm – secretly he went to Felpersham to look at alternate ways of buying the Farm without going the whole hog themselves.
• Sean’s stint as Cricket Club Captain is hitting rockier times – Bert’s attempts to prove his knowledge of the Laws resulted in him checking the dimensions of everything associated with last Saturday’s game – stumps, creases and bats – and the previously Ambridge only single wicket contest looks set to receive an attack from the Penny Hassett team ….
• The BBQ is a big success with Eddie and Jolene singing his composition “Phoenix from the Flames” which is very weel received.
