• The hens are preparing for what Shula hopes will be a quiet evening, unfortunately they’re not going to the Chinese which Shula was expecting, but to a cafe-bar …. which Shula realises is where the stag party are due to end up (having first visited a few other bars).
• Ruth’s going dancing with Usha rather than being on Shula’s hen night. They have a good evening and end up at the same cafe-bar, after all they don’t realise that the hen party is coming there.
• The three roads converge as the stag party realise what’s happened – but it’s not so bad as everyone’s friends and neither has been particularly riotous, but Usha and Ruth arrive and Usha still, apparently, feels a little touchy on the subject of Shula. She leaves, a little upset, and Shula goes out to try to convince her (fruitlessly) to stay.
